Who collects your data?

- Identity data: Last name, first name, email, phone number, and company name (optional) when you register.
- Rental data: Information about the bikes you rent or list, dates, amounts, and exchanged messages.
- Payment data: We do not store any banking information. All transactions are processed and secured by our payment partner, Stripe.
- Insurance data: For insured rentals, your identity and rental data are transmitted to our partner Sharelock to activate coverage.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, connection logs (collected by our host Infomaniak for security).
- Cookies: Cookies necessary for your session to function and third-party service cookies if you consent to them.
Why do we collect this data?
Your data is used for the following purposes:
- To provide the connection service (manage your account, your rentals).
- To manage rental payments and owner payouts (via Stripe).
- To manage the activation of insurance policies (via Sharelock).
- To manage disputes and rental problems.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To meet our legal obligations (accounting, invoicing).
- To send you news and offers (only if you have explicitly consented).
How long do we keep your data?
Your personal data is kept for 3 years after your last activity (last login or rental). Invoicing data (commissions) is kept for 10 years to meet our accounting obligations.
What are your rights?
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights, which you can exercise by contacting us at contact@fredloox.fr:
- Right of access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: Modify your inaccurate data (you can do this directly via "Edit my profile").
